For the first time ever, The Royal Mint created a lenticular feature on a UK 50p. When you tilt the coin, the iconic lightning bolt replaces the number 25.

The Harry Potter 50p series continued to include the 2022 Hogwarts Express 50p, the 2023 Professor Dumbledore 50p and the 2023 Hogwarts School 50p.
Great news Harry Potter collection let’s hope they don’t stop with just 4 coins . There are so many great characters the list is endless we could see a great collection. Fingers crossed.
Will these be in general circulation?
I doubt. I know France released Harry Potter coins as well. They do have value but these are meant for collections I believe. I’m not sure if it’s the case for UK
