although these coins are cheap they are made either by you or for you but not original royal mint coins at £11 from 1o july 2023, still nice though wont go up in value unfortunatley
Hi, these are official UK 50p coins issued by The Royal Mint. We are an official distributor of The Royal Mint, however we sell the coins in our own Change Checker packaging to offer a more affordable way to collect.
I hope this helps, Kate
will these coins be circulated ?
Hi Ben, these coins aren’t due to enter circulation.
Kind regards, Kate
I thought the mint did not put a likeness of a living person on their coins, except for members of the royal family.
Hi Shaun, that is generally the case however we assume that as these are likenesses of characters, it’s an exception.
I hope that helps, Kate
Chewy, I met him many moons ago, as a Hosp Porter, absolutly amaszing Man
i am one with the dark side, i vote darth vader
I’ve never even seen a Star Wars film, and know nothing about the characters, so based solely on the design I like most, went for Darth Vader. Is it just me, or does the robot look like Charlie Chaplin without his bowler hat? I think it’s the eyebrows!
I definitely vote for the Darth Vader star wars 50p,I think when the news hits the American market about the star wars 50p set especially the royal mint coloured versions, they will eventually go for a higher price than the price the royal mint are selling the coloured ones for…because of star wars being a worldwide phenomenon and especially being limited editions and we never know the other 3 coloured versions could have a lower mintage figure.
There are all exceptionally good a must for all collectors.
