The White Tower £5 was issued as part of The Royal Mint’s 2020 Tower of London Series. The White Tower is the oldest part of the Tower of London and is the most famous castle keep in the world. The reverse design, by Timothy Noad, features a design of the White Tower and a segment of a Norman arched window. When all coins in the series are placed together, the image of this window is completed. The obverse features the fifth portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth by Jody Clark.
