Following on from the hugely popular Star Wars™ Character Duos 50p series, the Star Wars™ Spacecraft series was issued in 2024. The series featured some of the most iconic spacecraft from the Star Wars™ franchise, kicking off with the legendary Millennium Falcon. The Death Star II 50p was the fourth and final coin in the series, featuring the fearsome battle station looming in space along with the official Star Wars™ logo. A unique lenticular feature shows both the Galactic Empire insignia and an outline of the Death Star II when the coin is tilted.
